Pollock Employees CU Merger Guide

We’re creating an exceptional credit union for you.

Welcome to Neighborhood Credit Union! This merger upgrade will transition your Pollock Employees Credit Union membership to the Neighborhood Credit Union system. Once complete, you will experience full service at all 14 branches, as well as all of the great products, services & benefits of Neighborhood CU membership. We are working to make this upgrade as easy and seamless as possible, and assure you that our friendly, knowledgeable staff is here to help you every step of the way.
 
Trouble Setting Up Loan Payments from Another Bank
If you are having trouble making or setting up payments from another bank in your online banking on your loan, contact 214-748-9393 ex. 2609, or email LoanServicing@myncu.com.
 
Have you received a monthly statement already?
For accounts set up during the month of February, our system automatically sent a monthly statement. You will see a zero balance, as your Neighborhood CU accounts have not been funded yet. Funds will continue to live in your Pollock Employees CU account until March 28, 2022.

If you do not plan to enroll in Online Banking, and would like to still receive transactional emails, company messages, and developments about our products and services, quickly and securely update your email by submitting the following form. 


Membership Share

Your $25 membership share held with Pollock Employees CU has been automatically transferred into a new Prize Savings membership share account. This $25 par value will not show in your Prize Saving’s available balance.

Checking accounts have been converted into our Kasasa Cash checking account. This free account requires no minimum balance and Courtesy Pay privileges are available immediately. Earn additional perks based on participation.

A debit card for your new checking account has been automatically mailed to the address on file and should arrive by before March 18, 2022. Note: your new debit card cannot be used until March 28, 2022.

Order Checks or Debit Card

If you do not receive your new debit card by March 18, 2022 or would like to order checks (your first box is on us!), please send us a message through secure email in your Neighborhood CU online banking account. Haven't yet registered for online banking? Find out how here.


Contactless Visa Debit Card

Our Visa debit cards are contactless! A simple tap is all it takes to pay for the things you need. Visa contactless payments make it secure, convenient and touch-free. Look for the contactless symbol anywhere you pay.


Mobile Wallet

Connect cards to your mobile wallet for a secure, card-less payment experience. Use your Neighborhood CU debit and credit cards to pay digitally on multiple devices, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.


Register Your Online Banking Account

Utilize Online Banking to manage your accounts from home. Check your balance and set-up account alerts, transfers funds, pay bills and make loan payments, open accounts, and so much more. As a first-time user, you will login to Online Banking directly:


  1. At myncu.com, navigate to the blue Login button with the lock icon at the top right or click Login in the main menu.
  2. Use the following credentials:
    • Username = Your new membership number (located on the first page of your Welcome Packet)
    • Password = Primary member’s full Social Security Number
  3. Click Login; you will then be prompted to change your password and verify your contact information.


You can also enroll in Online Banking through the MyNCU Mobile App, available on both the Apple and Google Play Store. After downloading and opening the app on your mobile device, press Sign Up at the bottom left of your screen.

We’ve made setting up or switching your direct deposits and automatic payments easy, fast, and secure with ClickSWITCH.

  • Start switching now by clicking here, or:
    1. logging into Online Banking (or enroll, if you haven't already)
    2. click Direct Deposit Enrollment under the Additional Services menu tab
 
Reminder: It's tax season, so make sure that your IRS direct deposit information is updated with your new account.
 

The Minimum Relationship Fee ($5 per month) and the Paper Statement Fee ($4.95 per mailing) will be waived the first three months. A Minimum Relationship Fee will only be charged if a minimum balance of $500 is not held in the Prize Savings Account and no other deposit or loan relationship exists.

Sign Up for eStatements

If you have already enrolled in online banking, click here to enroll in eStatements. To sign up for eStatements in your online banking account, decline paper statements under the eStatements menu tab after registering for Online Banking.


While the name of your CD may be new, rest assured that the terms, rate, and maturity date will not change.
 
Please note that your CD will automatically renew, and you have 10 days before the maturity date to update or cancel your auto-renewal. To do so, please contact us at 214-748-9393.

Current Loans

If you have a loan through Pollock Employees CU, it has now been transferred over to Neighborhood CU.
 
  • The terms, payment amount, and due date will not change.
  • Automatic payments or bill pay will need to be set up again with your new account information. (If you are having trouble setting up automatic payments from another bank in your online banking, contact 214-748-9393 ex. 2609, or email LoanServicing@myncu.com.)
  • Don't forget to update your auto insurance information, if applicable. (see next FAQ dropdown)
  • Note: If the loan payment was previously automatically withdrawn from your payroll, we are not able to accommodate this type of payment method.

ITMs

Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) are just like ATMs but better! Conveniently and easily:

  • deposit cash and checks
  • make a loan payment
  • video with a branch representative during business hours
  • and more!
ITMs are currently available at the following locations: Anna, ArlingtonLancasterGrand PrairieNorth DallasMesquite and Uptown.



ATMs and Surcharge-Free ATM Network

Aside from ITMs/ATMs at each of our 13 branches, our members have access to over 90,000 surcharge-free ATMs as a part of the MoneyPass and Allpoint ATM Networks. A surcharge is when the owner of the ATM charges the ATM user a fee and some can get as high as $5.
 
Neighborhood Credit Union’s partnerships with MoneyPass and Allpoint opens up almost 100,000 ATMs to members free of this surcharge. 



Free Shared Branching

Over 6,100 nationwide locations you can deposit and make withdrawals in the lobby or drive thru for no fee. Whether you are traveling or relocating to a new community, you can still have easy access to your Neighborhood Credit Union accounts.
