How It Works
Earn one entry for every $5 of your average monthly balance in your Prize Savings account. Each month, three individual winners will be drawn, with one receiving $3,000, another $2,000, and the third $1,000, all announced together via our social media. Our $49,999.99 Grand Prize will now be awarded annually on February 1st. Additionally, we're now donating $200 monthly to a charity chosen by members on behalf of the winners. When you become a member of Neighborhood Credit Union, you will be required to open our Prize Savings Account with a minimum $25 deposit that will be held for the life of your membership. Why? This will be your Membership Share in the credit union making you a co-owner where you can reap member benefits and be involved in credit union operations.

Meet This Year's Prize Savings Account Winner!
A Neighborhood Credit Union member since 2001, Leticia Ybarra first opened her account at 18 years old after her mother encouraged her to start building a strong financial foundation. More than 20 years later, her commitment to saving paid off when she was named the 2025 Grand Prize Winner of Neighborhood Credit Union's Prize Savings Account, receiving $49,999.99.
The surprise win came during a visit to the Coppell branch and was especially meaningful after Ybarra navigated a period of unemployment and recently started a new role. Reflecting on her savings journey, she shared, “Start young. You can never be too young to start saving for the future. Invest in your future.” When asked who she planned to tell first, her answer was simple: her mother, whose encouragement helped start her savings journey all those years ago.

Every $5 in your Prize savings account monthly balance at the time of the drawing equals 1 entry. For example: if you have $10,000 in your Prize Savings account, then you would have 2,000 entries into the drawing.

This will be your Membership Share in the credit union establishing you as as co-owner where you can be involved in credit union operations. $25 will be held in this account as your ownership stake for the life of your membership.
Those who are ages 13 to 17 years old may establish membership at Neighborhood Credit Union through the Membership Savings account.
Limit one (1) Prize Savings account per membership. Must be 18 years of age or older. Please refer to the Official Prize Entry Rules.
