Interest on all certificates are credited at the end of each month.
When you reach your maturity date, you have a ten (10) day window to do one of three things:
- Change the term.
- Make additional deposits or withdrawal funds.
- Close the CD.
If you reach the maturity date and don't make any changes or withdrawals, your CD will automatically renew into the same system.
Yes, we may impose a penalty if you withdraw before the maturity date. For certificates with terms of one (1) year or less, the penalty is 180 days of interest. Certificates with terms of more than 1 year, the penalty is 365 days of interest. Please see the certificate Truth-In-Savings Disclosure for more details.
