Any Neighborhood Credit Union member interested in being nominated to serve on the Board of Directors must submit an application and statement of qualifications to a Nominating Committee member by Thursday, February 26, 2026. 
 
Only members that are certified are eligible for nomination from the floor at the Annual Meeting.

Expiring Terms:
 
  • Arthur Young
    • Arthur Young has served on the Neighborhood Credit Union board of directors since 1981. He retired from the United States Postal Service as Richardson Postmaster with 39 years of service. In addition to his service on the Neighborhood Credit Union Board of Directors, Mr. Young has served as a board member, and past director, for the Collin County Committee on Aging and is a 24-year member of the board of the Plano Day Care Center, a United Way affiliated agency. He is also a member of the Postmasters Association, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and served on the board of the YMCA for 15 years. Mr. Young has received numerous credit union honors including the Filene Award in 1990, the Raiffeisen Award in 1993 and the Bergengren Award in 1995. He is also a champion for credit union advocacy and participates regularly in the political process to educate our lawmakers about credit unions. He hopes to “continue providing members with the best place to save their funds and the best break on loans.” He has been a member of Neighborhood Credit Union since 1963.


  • Ronald Taylor
    • Ronald Taylor served on the former Pegasus Community Credit Union Board of Directors from 1998 until its merger with Neighborhood Credit Union in 2016. In 2014 he retired from BlueCross BlueShield of Texas after 25 years as vice president and general counsel.  Mr. Taylor serves the community on the boards of several charities and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.  He is also chairman of the City of Richardson’s Planning Commission.   A military veteran, he retired with the rank of Lt. Col. from the U.S. Army Reserve.  Mr. Taylor is an avid basketball fan and fulfills that interest as the Community Ambassador for the Texas Legends, the G-League entrant owned by the Dallas Mavericks.  He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Dallas Chapter of the National Basketball Retired Players Association. Mr. Taylor would like to continue to serve the expanded field of membership as a member of Neighborhood Credit Union’s board of directors. He is committed to the continued excellence of Neighborhood Credit Union’s financial strength and quality member service.
