Neighborhood Credit Union Donates $25,000 To Children’s Health
Plano, TX — Neighborhood Credit Union leaders presented a $25,000 donation to Children’s Health Plano on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, supporting the organization’s mission to provide exceptional care to children and families across Texas.
During the visit, Neighborhood CU leaders met with Kendall Rowden, Director of Corporate Partnerships, and toured the facility, gaining a closer look at the care environments and services designed to support patients and their families. The experience reinforced the impact of Children’s Health’s work and the importance of continued community support.
“At Neighborhood Credit Union, we believe strong communities start with investing in the health and well-being of families,” said James Frankeberger, Chief Financial Officer. “As a member-owned credit union, we’re intentional about where we direct our resources and the impact they can have. On a personal level, Children’s Health has provided care for my family, which makes this donation especially meaningful and a reflection of both our members’ generosity and our commitment to families in Texas.”
The $25,000 donation was made possible through Neighborhood Credit Union’s annual Skip-a-Payment program, which runs throughout November and December. The program allows qualifying members to skip a monthly loan payment in exchange for a fee, with proceeds benefiting Children’s Health.
Neighborhood Credit Union has supported Children’s Health for more than three decades, contributing over half a million dollars to advance pediatric care in the region. Through this longstanding partnership, the credit union continues to invest in programs and services that make a meaningful difference for children and families.
