Every purchase you make with an eligible Neighborhood Credit Union Visa Debit Card adds up to rewards points that can be redeemed for exciting gifts.¹ 


How MyPoints Rewards Work 

You earn one point for each $100 spent on a Neighborhood Credit Union Visa Debit Card!¹

Eligible Neighborhood CU Visa Debit Cards are automatically enrolled in the MyPoints reward program and you don't have to register to start earning points. Earn points by using your Neighborhood Credit Union Visa Debit card for every day debit card purchases like groceries, pharmacy, gas station, or online shopping instead of paying with a check, cash, or credit card.  


First, Claim Your Account

If you are an eligible member with a debit card, an account within the MyPoints Rewards portal has already been created on your behalf. To claim your account, simply click “Start Here”. Enter the required information and click ”Search”. You must have an email address to claim your account and the account will never expire.

If you are an eligible member with a Neighborhood Credit Union debit card, enrollment is not required and an account within the MyPoints Rewards portal has already been created on your behalf. To claim your account, simply click “Start Here”. Enter the required information and click ”Search”. You must have an email address to claim your account.

Eligible accounts will earn points when using your debit card for both in-store and online purchases. You’ll earn one point for every $100 spent with a signature or PIN transaction. In addition, some account holders may receive mailers periodically, offering 100 bonus points for using you debit card 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 times in one month. To maximize the number of points you will earn, be sure use your debit card instead of check, cash or credit card.

You can also earn extra points by shopping online through the merchants listed in the portal. Simply log in to your account and click on SHOP ONLINE for all of the details.

Points are valid for 2 years from the first day of the month in which the Points were issued. Points will be invalid at 12AM on that date, and cannot be redeemed for a reward. Their value will become 0. Deposited certificates and expiration dates can be viewed by clicking on "MyPoints Rewards" and "Certificates."

When you log into the system, your current point balance will be displayed in the top left corner.
You can redeem prizes by clicking on the “Rewards” button in the portal. Search for products by category, number of points or by keyword. Simply click on the prize you wish to order and click “Order”. Verify the shipping information and click the submit button. Then, confirm your order. Most gifts are shipped to arrive within 3 weeks.

For example, if a purchase with your card occurs on the last day of the offer month but does not clear your account until the first day of the following calendar month, then that transaction will not be included in the calculation for the month in which you used your card. Annual Notice Regarding Non-Visa Pinless Debit Transactions
You may use your checking account Visa Debit Card to initiate both Visa debit transactions and non-Visa debit transactions without using a personal identification number (PIN) to authenticate the transactions. To initiate a Visa debit transaction, you may sign a receipt, provide a card number or swipe your card through a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and choose to route the transaction over a Visa network. To initiate a non-Visa debit transaction, you may enter a PIN at a point-of sale terminal or, for certain bill payment transactions, provide the account number for an e-commerce or mail/telephone order transaction after clearly indicating a preference to route it as a non-Visa transaction. We have enabled non-Visa debit transaction processing on the CU24, Accel, Pulse and Plus network(s). The rights and protections applicable only to Visa debit transactions, including additional consumer liability limits and streamlined error resolution procedures, as described in your Electronic Fund Transfers Agreement and Disclosure will not apply to transactions processed through non-Visa networks.
