Member Impact in Widespread Card Production Delay

Many credit unions and banks are experiencing a widespread card production delay. While this situation is outside of our direct control, we are doing everything possible to mitigate the impact on our members.
This card production issue has affected debit cards that expire on December 31, 2022. A replacement card is not expected to be delivered until January 2023, however there are two immediate solutions to help impacted members receive a new card sooner, if needed.
- Add your card to Mobile Wallet (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, etc). The expiration date renewal will be applied automatically through Visa’s Automated Update service. You will be able to continue using your current debit card through Mobile Wallet at participating merchants until you receive the new one by mail in January.
- If you need a replacement debit card prior to the end of December, you can:

- Visit our North Dallas or Arlington branch and have a new debit card with a new card number instantly issued to you.
- Send a secure email or start a secure chat to order a new debit card with a new card number that will be mailed to you via Priority Mail. You may experience normal holiday USPS delays.
Keep in mind that the original reissued card will still be delivered sometime in January if you choose a solution from Option 2. However, the original reissued card will have been deactivated since a new card number was issued and should therefore be safely discarded.
