This November, Neighborhood Credit Union will introduce a brand-new digital feature called Goal Builder, designed to help you plan, organize, and reach your savings goals, all within one convenient account.

 

Between saving for emergencies, big purchases, and special occasions, it can be hard to keep track of what’s what. Goal Builder takes the guesswork out of saving by letting you create and manage several goals in one place. Whether you’re setting aside money for a rainy day, a dream vacation, or a new car, this new feature helps you visualize your progress and stay on track every step of the way.

Goal Builder guides you through setting a goal amount, start date, and target completion date. You can choose how much and how often you want to save — daily, weekly, monthly, or even yearly — and Goal Builder will automatically calculate your progress toward your goal. You’ll be able to adjust your contributions anytime, with an easy-to-use slider or by typing in a new amount.

 

Once your goals are set, you can create automated rules to make saving effortless. Decide how much you’d like to designate toward each goal and when, or even set a percentage of every deposit to go directly toward your savings. From there, you can “set it and forget it,” knowing that your plan is working behind the scenes to help you reach your financial milestones.

 

Everything is tracked visually, so you’ll always know how close you are to achieving each goal — and how much room you still have in your account for day-to-day needs.
