Social Media Intern
Internship Description
The intern will work closely with the Marketing Content Specialist in planning social media calendars, creating engaging posts that align with the credit union’s goals, and brainstorming campaign ideas while analyzing and reporting on the success of these campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the social media content calendar.
- Creating and posting paid and organic content on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Brainstorming and contributing new ideas to engage younger members.
- Assisting in the creation of digital content, including graphics and video.
- Tracking and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns to gauge success.
- Collaborating with the marketing team on overall strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and tools for measuring success.
- Creativity and ability to generate new content ideas.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field with a strong interest in social media.
- Previous experience with social media or marketing is a plus but not required.

- Compensation
- This internship will be unpaid; however, we are hoping to offer college course credit (if applicable).
- Objective
- Provide UNT students with an opportunity to intern with Neighborhood Credit Union’s marketing department, specifically focusing on social media.

- Internship Duration
- 10-12 Weeks, 10-20 hours a week depending on the student's schedule. On site at our North Dallas corporate building (13649 Montfort Drive, Dallas, TX 75240).
- Focus on Student Development
- Interns will gain practical experience in social media management, marketing, and campaign strategy in a professional environment.
