Job Description

This position is primarily for multiple clerical type processes.  All Operations Support Representatives will conduct interactions at the highest ethical behavior with all members while continually looking for process improvements


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of assigned functions.
    • Verifies domestic and international wires.
    • Completes Social Security Administration electronic Verification of Deposits (VODs).
    • Processes levies, liens and other mailed in Verifications of Deposit.
    • Serves as back up for posting incoming and returned mail.
    • Processes Select Employee Group payroll as needed.
    • Processes miscellaneous reports as needed.
    • Assists with records retention vendor.
    • Processes Remote Deposit Capture / Interactive Teller Machine check images and reviews fund transfers.

  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with customers, other financial institutions, and merchants.
    • Works with members and agencies related to levies, liens and other legal entities.
    • Works with all departments, retail branches and archival vendor for records storage.

  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
    • Any special projects that arise.

  • Education/Certification
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Required Knowledge
    • Knowledge of basic word processing, spreadsheet applications and understanding of credit union products and services as they are different from other financial institutions.
  • Experience Required
    • One to two years of related experience.
  • Skills/Abilities
    • Excellent communication and public relations skills.
    • Ability to analyze accounts.
    • Attentive to detail.
    • Well organized.
    • Ability to assist others.
    • Able to use 10-key, PC, teller terminal, telephone, card machine, and all related business equipment.
