FAQs

How do I make a credit card payment?

If you currently make your payments via MyNCU Online or Mobile Banking, you will still be able to make payments in this manner.

GoToMyCard.com is no longer available. You will be able to access your credit card information in Online Banking moving forward, including a new detailed view, payment options, eStatements and much more. To access the new credit card portal in Online Banking, simply click on “Additional Services” then “Credit Cards.” From there you will be able to view your credit card information.

If you have never logged into Online Banking before:

  1. Go to myncu.com
  2. Username = Account Number
  3. Password = Last 4 digits of the primary member’s social security number
  4. Select & verify your contact information for a secure Online Banking experience

Why am I receiving a new credit card?

Neighborhood CU is updating our entire credit card program. This will result in future enhancements and new features for your credit card.

When will I receive my new credit card?

Your new Visa Platinum credit card will mailed between August 23 – August 27, 2017. Please look for your new card in the mail.

Will my old credit card still work?

You will want to activate your new credit card upon receipt. Your old credit card will be deactivated on September 27, 2017.

Will my new credit card have a new number/expiration date?

Yes. Please update any merchants or vendors in which you have automatic payments set up with your Neighborhood CU Visa Platinum credit card. Promptly updating your payment card will ensure no disruption in your recurring payments.

Will my new credit card have rewards?

Your new Visa Platinum credit card will continue to have the same benefits you currently enjoy. In 2018 we will introduce new credit cards with rewards.

Will my new credit card still have a chip?

Yes. The new card will have the same EMV chip technology to keep your information secure.

Will my credit card rate change?

No, you will still enjoy the same low rate as you do today.

What about my credit card statements?

Beginning in September, your credit card statement will have a new look and will arrive from a different address than your current statements.

If you currently receive eStatements, you will continue to receive eStatements following the update.

Will the Visa Platinum credit card still be free?

Yes, there is still no annual fee for your credit card.

Will there be changes to the Visa Guide to Benefits?

As a part of our credit card update, you will see some changes to the benefits offered with your Visa Platinum credit card. Beginning August 18th, your card will offer Auto Rental Collision Damage Coverage. To view your Visa Guide to Benefits, click here.
