MyNCU Card Lock

Who hasn’t left their debit card at a restaurant, or in a store, or maybe lost it in the car in that impossibly narrow space between your armrest and seat, or had it stolen from your purse or the gym locker? Or maybe you just want to control your spending. With MyNCU Card Lock, you can quickly and easily turn off and turn on your debit card, report it lost or stolen, or cancel your card.

 

To access MyNCU Card Lock:


Access MyNCU Card Lock using Online Banking or the MyNCU Mobile app. Once you access the Debit Card Lock home screen, the process is the same.

  • From Online Banking, select Additional Services and select Debit Card Lock.
  • From MyNCU Mobile app: on Android select the menu icon (top left), on iOS select More (bottom right), then select Debit Card Lock.

To turn off your debit card:


    1. Find the debit card you want to turn off and select the ON button.
    2. Select Turn off to confirm your decision.
    3. Select Back to card management button. You will see that the debit card you turned off now has a Card Status Inactive and OFF.

To turn on your debit card:


    1. Find the debit card you want to turn on and select the OFF button.
    2. Select Turn on to confirm your decision
    3. Select Back to card management button. You will see that the debit card you turned on now has a Card Status Active and ON.

To report your debit card lost or stolen:


    1. Find the debit card you want to report and select the Report lost/stolen button. If you are using the MyNCU Mobile app tap the empty space on the card to see all options.
    2. Make selections noting any fraudulent activities, lost PIN, and/or new card request.
    3. Select Submit
    4. Note: your card will be deactivated and will disappear from Debit Card Lock. It cannot be restored.

To cancel your debit card:


    1. Find the debit card you want to report and select the Cancel card button. If you are using the MyNCU Mobile app tap the empty space on the card to see all options.
    2. Confirm by selecting Yes cancel card
    3. Note: your card will be deactivated and will disappear from Debit Card Lock. It cannot be restored.

FAQs


    1. How long does it take?

      When you select Submit the changes to your card status are immediate.
    2. How long will my card be turned off?

      Your card will remain turned off until you turn it back on. To turn on your debit card follow the instructions as stated above. If you think your card has been lost or stolen, please use the Card lost / stolen feature described above.
    3. Will turning off my debit card impact any pending transactions already authorized?

      No. Any pending transactions that have already received authorization will be processed and paid.
    4. Will turning off my debit card impact recurring payments?

      If a recurring payment has already received authorization it will be processed and paid. However, if a recurring payment has not received authorization and is presented while your debit card is turned off, the recurring payment will be declined.
    5. When my debit card is turned off can I make any changes?

      No, while your debit card is turned off we will not authorize any change requests. When you turn on your debit card, you can request changes per the normal procedures.
