Six Flags over Texas/Hurricane Harbor and Neighborhood Credit Union Scholarship Contest

We are now accepting entries for Six Flags over Texas/Hurricane Harbor and Neighborhood Credit Union's Scholarship Contest. We will award one $1,000 scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year. Students must answer the following questions in 1,000 words or less:

1.) How have you provided world-class service to a guest while working at Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor?

2.) How has working at Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor prepared you to further your education and/or career?

To be eligible, students must also meet the following criteria:

• Must be a high school senior or college freshman
• Must have an account at Neighborhood Credit Union (Click Here to join if you aren't already a member)
• Must be currently employed by Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor ( *Must be employed a minimum of 30 days as of July 16, 2010)
• Must have at least a 2.5 GPA
• Must be planning to attend a two-year or four-year accredited university or college
• Must be a U.S citizen or a permanent resident
• Submission of your entry must include a transcript indicating a GPA of 2.5 or better
• Submission must include  a Scholarship Application Form
• Prize money will be dispersed once college enrollment is confirmed and must be dispersed by the end of 2010 payable to the school of your choice.

Entries are due by July 16, 2010. Winners will be announced on August 6, 2010. Please bring entries to your Human Resources Department or E-Mail entries to Scholarship@myncu.com with "Scholarship" as the subject. Good luck!
