Electronic Payments

Making your loan payment is now easier!  Members can now make an electronic loan payment from another financial institution or your credit/debit card to your Neighborhood Credit Union loan with Electronic Payments. With our safe and easy online payment option, you may schedule a one-time transaction. Or, come into any branch to schedule a transaction or set-up a recurring payment. 

Payments can be made for auto loans, personal loans and other loans (with the exception of mortgage payments).  To utilize Electronic Payments online, you must first complete the registration information.  After registration you will receive an e-mail confirmation once the request has been processed.  From there you can schedule payments. No paperwork is required for one time transactions. Please note, a nominal fee applies for this service and credit card payments will take an additional day to post due to the card verification process.

What would happen if you were faced with any of the following circumstances?

• You pass away, leaving your loan debt to family, friends or co-signers.
• You are injured or become ill, and are unable to make loan payments.
• Your vehicle is totaled in an accident or stolen, and the amount you owe is greater than the amount your insurance company is willing to pay.
• Your used vehicle breaks down and requires an expensive repair.

Neighborhood Credit Union protects you and your family in the event something unfortunate does happen. But more than just fulfilling your loan responsibilities, these additional loan products protect your good name, give you peace of mind and work fast and easy.

• Credit Life Insurance
  Pays all or part of the loan balance in the event of your death. Your policy is built into the loan documents and the premium is included in your loan payments. Multiple loan coverage with a maximum $50,000 benefit per member. No effect on other insurance coverage.
• Credit Disability Insurance
  Makes loan payments in the event you are sick or injured and cannot work. Pre-existing conditions are covered after six months. Your policy is built into the loan documents, and the premium is included in your loan payments. Multiple loan coverage with maximums applied to each loan individually. No effect on other insurance coverage.
• GAP Insurance
  If your vehicle is declared a total loss by your insurance company due to accident or theft, GAP will pay any remaining loan balance your auto insurance does not pay off. Policy and premium are built into your loan and do not increase monthly payments.
• Extended Warranty Agreement
  Offers protection from the high cost of mechanical breakdown repairs. Repairs can be made at any licensed facility in the U.S. or Canada with prior approval. Payment for repairs is made directly to the repair facility, leaving no claim forms for you to deal with. New vehicle coverage offered up to seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Used vehicle coverage offered up to five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Older used vehicle coverage offered up to two years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
