MARKETING SPECIALIST- NORTH DALLAS
Neighborhood Credit Union is looking for a dynamic individual to assist in coordinating marketing of the organization's products and/or services by performing the following duties:
* Creates design for in-house and promotional pieces. This includes promotions, web graphics (flash), videos, newsletters, brochures, posters, flyers, and postcards. Proficient in layout/design skills.
* Supports and coordinates credit union social media efforts for member education/promotion, and employee training and activities.
* Manages e-mail database, writes and coordinates mass and targeted e-mail communication to members.
* Assists with web site and weekly rate updates.
* Ensures all branch marketing material is up to date.
* Coordinates and researches community involvement activities and assists with PSG and SEG new member orientations and vendor fairs as needed. Participates in events.
* Oversees child and youth club account activities and programs, including coordinating scholarship contest and working with local high schools and Booster Clubs.
* Performs such other functions that might be needed from time to time, and assists others to complete tasks and work assignments.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

* College degree required, Marketing or related field and a minimum of one year in a related position.
* Personal strengths include multitasking, flexibility, teamwork, initiative, positive attitude and problem solving.
* Proficiency in the operation of the following software applications: Adobe CS3 suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Soundbooth, Flash and Photoshop) and MicroSoft Word.
* Ability to operate MicroSoft Power Point, MicroSoft Access, a MCIF and miscellaneous marketing software that might be applicable from time to time preferred.
* Ability to operate all standard office machinery such as: fax machine, photocopier, adding machine, telephone, laser printer and occasionally overhead projector, LCD, VCR, scanner and television set.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbally and in writing
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Salary: $32,000- $35,000 Annually
